BIOGRAPHY

Early mornings have always attracted me; the quiet and emptiness are compelling. A favourite photographic theme is the architectural aspect of city streets. I am fascinated by the relationship of building to street which, taken without cars and people, produces a very different perspective of an everyday space. Beyond the city, the land - quiet and lonely - is open to minimalist interpretations.

I enjoy working alone, but I also work with the three women of Studio255. Together we have chosen six photographic destinations – Paris, Berlin, Moscow, London, Vienna and Scotland – each time presenting the results in an exhibition.

For the past twelve years I have held an annual salon of current work in my home. The 2019 exhibition outliers orphans others showcases an urban environment’s un-noticed structures

My work has been exhibited in Ottawa and Toronto and is held in collections across Canada.
